The Load and unload goods/cargo course would benefit a wide range of individuals who are responsible for transporting goods or operating vehicles that carry loads. This includes professional truck, bus, and coach drivers, logistics and freight operators, warehouse staff involved in loading vehicles, and employers who need to ensure compliance with safety regulations
You should bring a notepad and computer device to participate in the blended learning course.
This unit involves the skills and knowledge pate required to load and unload goods and/or cargo. It includes loading and unloading goods and cargo, securing and protecting a load and completing all required documentation in accordance with relevant state or territory roads and traffic authority regulations and permit requirements. Work is performed under general supervision within a team environment. No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.

If not, then the learner is expected to engage in unsupervised self-study for about 4 hours per day for 6 days prior to attempting the assessments. |
This qualification equips learners with the essential skills and knowledge to work as a professional driver in the transport and logistics industry.

Training can also be delivered at client sites (warehouses or workplaces) where suitable.
Individual Unit of competency: $325 per student
Note: A minimum of 10 students are required to run the course.
Training & Education Pathways: After achieving this unit of competency students may undertake a range of associated construction, resources, logistics and warehousing units and qualifications.
Employment Pathways: After achieving this unit of competency students may seek employment in warehousing, manufacturing, construction, resources and transport industries.
