This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to compile information required for a national driver work diary used in the road transport industry and to complete the work diary in accordance with national heavy vehicle regulator (NHVR) and heavy vehicle legislative requirements. It includes identifying legislative and regulatory requirements relating to work diary, compiling information and completing a work diary.
A work diary is completed as an integral part of day-to-day work operations in the road transport industry.
Work is performed under minimum supervision within the road transport industry.
| Upon completion of this unit of competency, student may enrol in other units of competencies that form a part of the qualification in driving operations, transport scheduling, logistics, warehousing operations, or Road transport terminal operations. |
