A big thank you to Tran at TDT Training for helping me with my HR truck licence. Getting behind the wheel of a heavy rigid truck can be pretty daunting, but Tran’s calm approach, clear explanations and practical advice made a real difference to my confidence. He was patient, approachable and happy to go over things until they clicked, with a strong focus on safe driving and good habits. I really appreciated having someone who could put me at ease while still keeping me focused on what I needed to learn. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly Recommend David at TDT Sunshine! I booked my HR licence test through TDT Sunshine, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Before this, I had never driven a truck, so I was quite nervous about the test. However, David guided me through everything in a very professional, patient, and easy-to-understand way. His teaching and guidance gave me the confidence and skills I needed to pass my HR test on the very first attempt. He explained everything clearly, helped me understand the truck properly, and made sure I felt prepared before the test. David is an excellent instructor who genuinely cares about his students’ success. I’m really thankful for his support and the way he taught me throughout the process. If you’re planning to get your HR licence at TDT Sunshine, I highly recommend booking with David. In my opinion, he is one of the best instructors there. If you want professional guidance and the confidence to pass your test, David is the person to go to! Thank you, David, for your excellent teaching and support!

Testimonials

“Over the past 3 years, I have made over 100 referrals of jobseekers with various abilities seeking warehouse and storage plus transport and logistics qualifications to Toni West of TDT Training Australia and her team. Toni has assisted me with all referrals for clients from beginning to end – booking clients to attend information sessions, followed by enrolments and ensuring that upon full completion of qualifications, certificates are awarded accordingly.Toni and her team are professional to deal with, her knowledge and attention to detail have aided in keeping myself and my fellow Employment Co-ordinators on track to up-skilling our clients for permanent employment within the transport and warehouse/manufacturing industry.”

“The courses I have completed are a certificate 3 in transport and logistics which gave me my heavy rigid licence and forklift, OH&S induction (Red Card as it was known). Competence in excavator, front end loaded, backhoe and skid steer. The trainers I had in both these courses were knowledgeable and had a real understanding of what the industry needed. All staff at TDT training are very good at what they do and are more than willing to help you get through any challenges or concerns you have.Since Completing these course I have been able to gain employment and change my career. So if you want to do a course or gain extra licenses or skills I would be giving TDT a call.“

“I undertook training to gain my Heavy Rigid truck license at your Dandenong complex. Having not driven trucks before I was obviously a little intimidated and unsure of how I’d cope to begin with. But your staff, particularly my personal instructor, Bruce, made me feel comfortable and competent through their excellent training. All staff members, from administration to teachers were both well organised and easy to deal with.I thoroughly enjoyed my time at TDT Training Australia and all of all your staff, particularly Bruce, are an absolute credit to your organization.”

“TDT Training Australia are a valued RTO to our organisation, providing quality and affordable training for our jobseekers. The team at TDT, lead by Toni, are always friendly and approachable, keeping us up to date on courses available in our area and informing us of the progress of our jobseekers in current courses. The courses in the Transport & Logistics field are conducted in a timely manner and are held regularly, which means our jobseekers are able to get up-skilled without a lengthy wait. Our jobseekers have had great success in gaining new skills and formal qualifications recognised Australia wide which more importantly, has lead to employment outcomes. This would not be possible without the team at TDT and the courses that they provide.“ Toni and her team are professional to deal with, her knowledge and attention to detail have aided in keeping myself and my fellow Employment Co-ordinators on track to up-skilling our clients for permanent employment within the transport and warehouse/manufacturing industry.”

“I would like to thank TDT Training for saving us from a bad experience with another training organisation. I am so glad I made the change as TDT have made the transition easy. They work with you each step of the way and our employees enjoy working with them. This benefits our staff in building their knowledge of the importance of knowing how to do their jobs the correct way. A lot of our staff are Cambodian and Vietnamese and their self esteem and confidence has grown since they have completed their course which also helps them instruct new workers. Quite often they will take a back step and pretend that they are not sure, but having done this course they openly help the other staff and I find they will lead by example.I would recommend TDT training to anyone who is considering putting their staff through course work. They will work with each staff individually and work with an interpreter if needed so that the staff know exactly what they are meant to be doing. Thank you to TDT Training.“

The office staffs are very friendly and supportive in their approach and communication. It is worth mentioning that my test supervisor Mr. Michael was very supportive and encouraging. It was due to his sense of humour and conversation that granted me all necessary confidence to pass the test. This is definitely the right school to learn with and I will be much happier to recommend to my friends if they want to learn and obtain driving license and other related skills.” But your staff, particularly my personal instructor, Bruce, made me feel comfortable and competent through their excellent training. "As a business we at Hazeldene’s based in Lockwood, Victoria identified a need to have our onsite truck operators to have a baseline level of competence and confidence when operating at our Lockwood Processing plant. Our aim was to ensure our staff were all aware of their role and responsibilities in maintaining a safe, efficient and effective onsite driver conduct. We needed a baseline standard to encompass the various tasks performed onsite, yet for the evaluation to be general enough to be completed in a timely fashion whilst drawing staff from various areas to undergo this process. We have a large fleet of trucks moving throughout the business and we needed to demonstrate that we as a business were meeting our training obligations and ensuring we are addressing our duty of care to those staff using trucks onsite as well as maintaining the onsite safety and protection of pedestrian traffic moving around the site.

These onsite truck driver evaluations conducted by TDT identified the level of competence of our drivers; it also identified areas where our drivers needed more training / guidance to become competent operators. In addition through feedback with TDT Instructors and their vast experience and expertise in this skill set we were able to pin-point areas we need to focus more training in, particular skills; (such as coupling / uncoupling training) as a measure of continuous improvement. We will now use this evaluation process as an ongoing measurement tool to determine the competence of our drivers. TDT has shown great professionalism; empathy with our staff and a tremendous amount of flexibility in terms of accommodating our wide ranging rostering demands. The feedback from our staff participating in these Onsite Evaluations has been very positive. Many have remarked how they have gained much more confidence as an operator onsite, that they have had certain procedures, particular the ‘why we do things this particular way’ clarified by TDT Instructors instead of simply accepting it as gospel. As a company we would fully endorse this evaluation process, procedure and training exercise as a very valuable and beneficial operation."
