A Heavy Combination vehicle is:
a) A prime move to which is attached a single semi-trailer that has a GVM more than 9 tonnes plus any unladen converter dolly; or
b) A rigid motor vehicle to which is attached a trailer that has a GVM more than 9 tonnes plus any unladen converter dolly.
This course is designed to train drivers to a competent standard, which will enable them to pass the relevant VicRoads testing criteria, skills and practical driving in the category of Heavy combination.
TDT offers a course duration of 8, 12 or 16 hours (depending on experience). Hourly training is also available upon request.
