Step up to managing logistics operations — supply chains, suppliers, budgets, risk and teams — with a nationally recognised Diploma delivered at Hallam, Bendigo or Sale.
This qualification supports the integrated management of logistics. It requires self-directed application of knowledge and skills, including judgement in planning and selecting equipment, services and techniques for self and others. Learners may contribute to strategic initiatives, complex technical operations, planning and evaluation, and the coordination of teams.
Learners may enter from Certificate III or Certificate IV level logistics, transport, supply chain or related qualifications, or through relevant industry experience.
Graduates may progress to higher-level qualifications in logistics, supply chain management, transport, leadership and management or related fields, subject to entry requirements.
Job outcomes depend on your previous experience, employer requirements and labour-market conditions. Completing this course does not guarantee employment.
Duration. 52 weeks, comprising four 12-week terms (48 training weeks) and 4 weeks of scheduled breaks. Maximum completion timeframe: 78 weeks.
Delivery mode. Blended delivery incorporating face-to-face classroom theory, trainer-led activities, practical and simulated workplace activities, structured self-study and assessment. Activities are contextualised to logistics management environments using realistic workplace documentation, systems, scenarios and management tasks.
