Are you passionate about training the next generation of skilled transport professionals? Deliver and assess high-risk work licence training including forklift (LF), order-picker (LO) and elevated work platform (EWP). This is a flexible opportunity to express your interest in current or future roles with TDT Training Australia across our Victorian locations — Hallam, Sunshine West, Bendigo, Ballarat & Sale. Full-time, part-time and casual roles are available.

Specific Requirements

  • Qualification: High Risk Work (HRW) Licence(s) — ideally LO or LF and EWP.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years’ industry experience in high-risk work. Previous training/assessing experience desirable.

About the Role

As a Trainer & Assessor at TDT, you’ll play a vital role in delivering industry-leading training programs and preparing learners for real-world success. You’ll facilitate both classroom and practical sessions while ensuring full compliance with VicRoads, ASQA and WorkSafe accredited-licensing standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver and assess accredited courses with professionalism and integrity.
  • Conduct both theoretical and practical training sessions (including on-road testing where applicable).
  • Maintain accurate training and assessment documentation.
  • Support learner progression through constructive feedback.
  • Uphold safety, compliance and quality standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, validation and audits.

Who We’re Looking For

A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) is required. Successful applicants will bring strong communication skills, adaptability and a learner-focused mindset, with a sound knowledge of RTO compliance, WHS standards and best-practice training methods. Trainers who hold multiple qualifications across our subject areas will be highly regarded and may be offered a more competitive salary package.
