Duration:
Minimum of 14 hours with 10 hours of flexible online self-paced learning and 4 hours of face-to-face training including practical demonstrations.
Note: Before attending the face-to-face training, students will need to complete their online / e-Learning which can be done in one sitting or over several sessions. Depending on the student’s learning ability, they should allow up to 10 hours for reading and e-Learning.6 hours (face-to-face in a classroom setting)
*Learners must also complete flexible online written assessment prior to attending the face-to-face session.
Certificate Valid:
HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation: Valid for 1 year.
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid: Valid for 3 years.

Recognise and assess an emergency situation
Ensure safety for self, bystanders and casualty
Assess the casualty and recognise the need for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
