Face-to-face training and assessment
This course covers the skills and knowledge required to safely prepare, operate, and manage vehicles in field environments across a range of terrains and conditions.
It is designed for individuals who are required to drive vehicles as part of their role in industries such as resources, construction, utilities, and field operations. The course focuses not only on driving, but also on planning, communication, safety, and basic recovery procedures.
Participants will learn how to conduct vehicle checks, plan routes, operate safely in different environments, and respond to common issues that may occur in the field.
(The LLND assessment is utilised to assess if a student has the ability to complete the training at the required level of competency and for TDT to assess the level of support required in this regard in order to provide the student with a reasonable opportunity to complete the unit of competency. The LLND assessment usually takes place during the pre-training review, where support needs are assessed and plans are put into place to achieve the best outcome for the student)

Upon successful completion, participants will

PMASUP236 – Operate vehicles in the field
Delivered and assessed over 2 full days

Important Information: Course duration/costs do not guarantee students will sit the on road licence test. To be eligible to test, students MUST first meet VicRoads criteria. If criteria are NOT met students will not be able to undergo the on road test and will continue to train for the duration of the course. Additional costs will apply if students book subsequent training and/or testing.
