Course Overview

BSB Qualifications are offered by TDT Training Australia to suit those working, or planning to work, as administrators, project officers, supervisors and managers. Both qualifications (BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business & BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management) are delivered online[1] within the standard provisions allowed. Upon completion of these qualifications, a learner will have skills and a broad knowledgebase to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. You will be able to apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts and provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others. Entry requirements

You must be either a Permanent Resident or an Australian Citizen to enrol in courses offered by TDT Training Australia. Complete a Pre-Training Review: TDT determines the support needs of individual learners and provides access to the educational and support services necessary for the individual learner to meet the requirements of the training product as specified in training packages. The process of Pre-Training Review is explained to every learner prior to enrolment and commencement of training. Sit for an LLN (Language, Literacy & Numeracy) test: You must clear TDT’s LLN test prior to enrolment. Note: LLN assessment is utilised to assess if a student has the ability to complete the training at the required level of competency and for TDT to assess the level of support required in this regard in order to provide the student with a reasonable opportunity to complete the course. LLN assessment takes place during the pre-training review, where learner characteristic is reviewed and assessed, support needs are determined and plans are put into place to achieve the best outcome for the student. Academic requirements: Australian year 12 (VCE) or equivalent Minimum age: 18 years at the time of course commencement USI (Unique Student Identifier) You must provide a verified USI at the time of enrolment without which AQF documents (Statement of Attainment, Academic Transcript and Testamur) will not be issued. Digital Literacy requirement: Considering the type of tasks a student will be required to complete during the course and whether or not the student has the required knowledge to complete those tasks, all students enrolling in online courses offered by TDT must:

  • have access to a reliable computer with internet access
  • have basic computer skills and a proven ability to use MS office suite or equivalent.

Course Duration and Fee

BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management: 12 months to 18 months (flexible online learning) Note: The course duration may vary based on prior skills and knowledge of a learner. TDT conducts a Pre Training Review prior to enrolment to determine the total volume of learning considering learner characteristics, to identify any support that individual learners may need and to provide access to required support throughout their training. Course Fee: $3250 NOTE: The above listed course fee includes Enrolment Fee (non-refundable): $250; Resource Fee (non-refundable): $500; Tuition Fee: $2500 Payment plan: $1250 deposit at enrolment, $1000 within one month from enrolment date and $1000 within 2 months of enrolment. Note – A maximum of three instalments after the deposit is paid can be arranged on request for both courses.

Refund Policy

After paying the deposit, but before beginning course – refund of deposit minus $750 non-refundable fee. No refunds shall be given after a course has commenced.

No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Learning Pathways: Upon successfully completing BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management qualification you can pursue an Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management qualification (AQF Level 6) or any other Advanced Diploma in your area of interest. How do I enrol, and how long does the process take?

  • This generally takes about 1 week. The process includes completing a Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test, a Pre-training review and an enrolment form. All of these are available online, and our team will support you through this simple process. The outcomes of the enrolment process will allow us to tailor the learning experience for you.

When can I enrol?

You can enrol and begin training at any time. As the training is delivered online, you can learn at your own pace. We don’t need to align to any semesters or terms, which allows you greater flexibility.

What type of student support is offered?

At TDT Business Training, our job is to give you the best experience possible – so we will offer you support from the start to the finish of your learning journey. We will help you through the enrolment process, provide you with an orientation pack and training plan, as well as provide email and phone support during the training process. Our online training platform has been selected due to its ease of use, so we are confident you will have all the support you need.

Is the course supported by face to face training?

  • No. The course content and assessment material is available online, and once you complete your assessment for each unit, your TDT assessor will provide you with feedback via our online learning platform.

Can I change the training units within the course?

Depending on the unit you are be interested in, we may be able to change a particular unit for an additional fee. Please contact us to find out more.

When do I receive my results?

After you submit your assessment for each unit, you should receive your results after about 10 business days via the online learning platform. This period may vary depending on the trainer’s workload.
