Course Overview
BSB Qualifications are offered by TDT Training Australia to suit those working as administrators, project officers, supervisors and managers.
Considering COVID-19 pandemic restrictions in place, as per the directions from Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), both qualifications (BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business & BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management) are delivered online[1] within the standard provisions allowed.
Upon completion of these qualifications, a learner will have skills and a broad knowledgebase to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. You will be able to apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts and provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

Training Location

Entry requirements
You must be either a Permanent Resident or an Australian Citizen to enrol in courses offered by TDT Training Australia.
Complete a Pre-Training Review:
TDT determines the support needs of individual learners and provides access to the educational and support services necessary for the individual learner to meet the requirements of the training product as specified in training packages. The process of Pre-Training Review is explained to every learner prior to enrolment and commencement of training.
Sit for an LLN (Language, Literacy & Numeracy) test:
You must clear TDT’s LLN test prior to enrolment.
Note: LLN assessment is utilised to assess if a student has the ability to complete the training at the required level of competency and for TDT to assess the level of support required in this regard in order to provide the student with a reasonable opportunity to complete the course. LLN assessment takes place during the pre-training review, where learner characteristic is reviewed and assessed, support needs are determined and plans are put into place to achieve the best outcome for the student.
Academic requirements:
Australian year 12 (VCE) or equivalent
Minimum age:
18 years at the time of course commencement
USI (Unique Student Identifier)
You must provide a verified USI at the time of enrolment without which AQF documents (Statement of Attainment, Academic Transcript and Testamur) will not be issued.
Digital Literacy requirement:
Considering the type of task’s a student will be required to complete during the course and whether or not the student has the required knowledge to complete those tasks, all students enrolling in online courses offered by TDT must:
- have access to a reliable computer with internet access
- have basic computer skills and a proven ability to use MS office suite or equivalent.

Course Duration and Fee
BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business: 6 months to 8 months (flexible online learning)
Note: The course duration may vary based on prior skills and knowledge of a learner. TDT conducts a Pre Training Review prior to enrolment to determine the total volume of learning considering learner characteristics, to identify any support that individual learners may need and to provide access to required support throughout their training.

Learning Pathways:
Upon successfully completing BSB40215 Certificate IV in Business qualification you can pursue a Diploma of Leadership and Management with TDT Training Australia or any other AQF Level 5 qualification from any other training provider.
