TLI30321 – Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations
Program Objectives
A general qualification for the Warehousing and Storage Industry. Successful completion will require competency in units that relate to work defined as aligned at AQF Level 3.
This qualification is designed to give people the capacity to work in the warehousing industry. It provides participants with an introductory level of knowledge and technical skills in manual handling, team work, occupational health and safety, receival and dispatch, stocktaking, customer service, product knowledge and handling skills.

The TLI31616 – Certificate III in Warehousing Operations is intended for people who want to learn how to receive, handle and despatch goods for distribution to customers. They will learn how to identify, pick, pack and stow stock, use inventory systems to conduct stock counts.
Course Highlights:
- Develop an understanding of the OHS requirements of the industry and be able to organise and implement safety initiatives
- Develop best practice skills in a warehousing environment
- Develop skills & knowledge relating to stock control and inventory management systems, including modern technology such as RF scanning.
- Develop skills & knowledge in the processing of goods including picking, packing, despatch and receival.
- Develop knowledge of organisational policies and procedures.

This qualification is achieved by ‘successfully completing’ all the nominated core and elective units. This can be achieved by participating in training sessions, completing assignments and by demonstrating your ability by putting the learning into practice under real / simulated conditions.

The entry requirements for this program are
There are no entry requirements. However applicants must demonstrate the language, literacy and numeracy required at least level 3. An LL&N assessment is conducted at pre-enrolment to assess if you require support in this regard.
The competency assessment will be
- Demonstration of knowledge through written/oral answers and projects
- Demonstration of workplace skills through practical assessment based on legislative and regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Delivery Mode
Training will consist of face-to-face training activities and assessment in a classroom environment. Projects and practical training will be given in a simulated or workplace setting by a qualified trainer and assessor. Students are provided with learning materials to develop knowledge, skills and understanding.
All training and assessment services are delivered by TDT Training professional industry trainers and fully accredited assessors.
